A monk came to say good bye to Ch'an master Niaowo (Bird's Nest). He said:
-Thank you, Sir, for everything you've done for me. Now I got to go.
-Where will you go?
-Any place where I can learn Buddha dharmas.
It's like facial hair on a man, you just can't keep it growing without some kind of adjustment, because otherwise it'd become a coat, pants and shoes. And that's the best I can do. Whoah, it just started hailing outside.
