One day when P'ang layman (740-808)was selling bamboo baskets at the market place of Hung-chou. Seeing a monk begging alms, he took out a cash and said:
-Can you tell me how to appreciate alms?
The monk had nothing to say.
I don't know how much related but I want to share a story:One day Banzan was walking through a market when he overheard a customer ask a butcher for the best piece of meat he had. "Every piece in my shop is the best", the butcher said. Hearing the butcher's explanation, Banzan became enlightened.
Inclusion free of rejection opens the minds eye above the rest, of seeing, feeling, hearing, tasting, eating, waking, walking, working, writing, and burping... oops excuse me, as is in all the others to be.
