vertical line We are reaching for the light by day and by night.
Rising from the earth where water began, to see, to feel, to touch with one hand...
clap, clap, clap of thunder from up above as down under.
here
Can we make a wish for peace above in the blue sky, without words, or tales, of our tears cry.
Up, up, up we go, home again home again both to and fro, bliss

vertical line Hehe... Zen Masters in Japan are given cloud names. The clouds are like  your thoughts... your thinking mind... takes infinite forms and they come and go. Now you see it.. now you don't.. But the clouds like  your thoughts appear and disappear but nothing significant has happened in the process...LOL

vertical line "When we understand how our mind works, the practice becomes easy."

As I worked my way through school I just assumed that the mind worked automatically. Then I realized the mind is a part of my conscious experience. I was taken by a mental catastrophe. So, there I was...

Because circumstances supported my life at the time, I was grateful. I decided to open to the possibility of a new, or rather the original meaning of Mind. After reading a few books on Zen and other topics, it seemed to touch me as "true."

I've been doing my best to be mindful, in other words, understand how my mind works, and practice to my ability.
