in this way:

When you breathe in, experience breathing in.
When you breathe out, be fully conscious that
you are breathing out.
If you cherish and practice... continue...

THE SOUND OF RAIN DROPS

Ching Ch'ing, a Chinese Ch'an master, asked a monk:

-What is the sound outside?

The monk answered:

-That is the sound of rain.

The master said:

-Sentient beings are upside down, they lose themselves in pursuit of things.

The monk asked:

-What should I do?

Ching Ch'ing replied:

-I am the sound of the rain.

Zazen - Just sitting - in the form of thought is linear. But look at this above; Ching Ch'ing's answer is not linear at all. Why don't more people sit still? Because they perceive "just sitting" as a linear process but in fact it is a very wholesome process which includes the entire cosmos.

I see you.You are right.I respect to you.I wouldn't tell but I give up I want to tell a story about me.I don't exactly remember how many years ago it may around 10 or so.Anyway one day I was walking in the street I was passing near a DVD Shop.Suddenly I noticed a picture hanging on the corner of the wall in the DVD Shop.Those days were my healthy days.I went inside looked for a while then bought it and brought it to my home.It is still hanging on the wall at my room.It is a picture that there is a sword at the Uma Thurman's hand.Here the sword symbolizes the linear.What is interesting is many years passed but I noticed the simple detail new.It was the emblem of the sword.Which shows the owner.Hattori Hanzo.

This may seems ordinary to you.But when I first noticed it it wasn't so ordinary to me.The picture is this one;
