vertical line Posted on May.07.2014 @ 03:53AM EDT by QuantumZen
Zen is supposed to be inexpressible by words, and yet we have over 4000 topics here. The more mature I become, the more aware of "I" I am. Seems, like we are going in the wrong direction. Zen was always a child's mind, not a mind of old stubborn philosophers. There is too little playing around, too much strict opinions and attachments to nonsensical words.

Play, my friends, for music is too silent.

vertical line God today surprised Zen observers by distancing Himself from Zen Forum saying, "It's true that I sort of believe in it but my faith comes and goes, and to be honest I have my doubts." "It's a bit like FM radio, sometimes it's on my wavelength, and sometimes I wish it would just stick to talking about tea, and leave me out of it."

The Divine Being continued, "Does Zen Forum exist? Well that's a tough question. Is it real? Another tough one. Why does it allow so much evil? Who knows. I'm not omniscient you know."

vertical line The forum itself is just a canvas :) I like it, It helped me alot. Two years ago I asked if it's okay to sit with eyes closed and what to do with cold room conditions, now I know. Look at the wall, wrap yourself in a blanket. People here gave me guidance, it is almost as if it was a guide... To zen xD cha. Out of your mind, how is talking about tea different from experiencing life?

Thank you friends

vertical line It's not Zen that's inexpressible, it's enlightenment. Zen is expressed by pointing at enlightenment.  Experiencing oneness doesn't suddenly invalidate words, it's words as well as actions that show the way. If this wasn't so, no one would write books on Zen and no one would gain insight from reading them.

vertical line It suddenly dawned on me. Nothing is important, not life (surviva), not death (non-existance or grieving) not things or mind... Everything just is. Because everything is just the way it is, everything is absolutely essential for the universe to be the way IT is. Everything is mutually the most important thing in the universe. Now why would one want not to sit and gaze upon the marvelous wall?
