When a monk came to say good bye to Chao-chou Tsung-shen (778-897), a brilliant Chinese Ch'an master.
-Where will you go?
The monk answered:
-Any place where I can learn Buddha dharma.
We all talk to ourselves sometimes and sometimes we berate ourselves for doing something foolish. That's just to remind us not to make the same mistake again.
Do you mention this because your reason for calling yourself stupid is to help free yourself of ego, or lessen your sense of self? No point in hating your ego, we all have one and it has a purpose, just like our eyes, our toes.
Well, I have psychological obsessions but I'm not sure if this is the case.I don't think it's because of my illness or ego rather it's just a voice that tell me 'do it'don't do it'listen to me'or'Don't afraid' and sometimes speaks with me.When he said Don't afraid I get relax and do the action with very easement in.I'm not sure if it's mine or another immortal one's either. It's just like a friendly wise voice somewhere deep inside me.
