O monks, even if you have insight that is pure and clear but you cling to
it, fondle it and treasure it, depend on it and are attached to it, then you
do not understand... continue...

When the master
Without a word raises his eyebrows
The posts and rafters
The cross beams and roof tree
Begin to smile
There is another place for conversing
Heart to heart
The full moon and the breeze
At the half-open window.

                           - Muso Soseki (1275-1351)

I have no idea of what this master is talking about.I like it and wanted to share.found it at dailyzen.

vertical line Why haven't I found love?

Why haven't I found love through a single Being?

Why haven't I found an honest spiritual leader?

Why haven't I heard from God?

Why is spirituality a lie?

Why is Zen a lie?

Why don't people understand meditation?

Why don't people understand themselves?

Why don't people listen to their hearts?

Why are people afraid of themselves and choose delusion?

Why can't people but choose to think they are living?

Why do people talk so much?

Why do people think so much?

Why do people work so much?

Why do people have so many personal problems?

Why do people talk under their breath?

Why is humanity suffering?

Why is the individual suffering?

Why can't a single family on earth be real?

Why can't a single family on earth know what's good but choose distress?

Why can't a single family on earth know what's right for themselves?

Why can't a single family on earth know truth?

Why can't a single family on earth be there in a the true sense of being there?

Why can't a single person keep to his self?

Why can't a single person be Alone by his self?

Why do teachings always lead away and not home?

Why do all things of life have no meaning but only that which is mind made?

Why are feelings the hardest judged things in the universe?

Why are those ungrateful?

Why are those greedy?

Why are those unhealthy?

Why are those ill?

Why are those unhappy?

Why are those untrue?

Why is "it is what it is" true?

Why is "it is what it is" false?

Why is "it is what it is" it is what it is?

Who is eavesdropping on me?

vertical line I found the smoking corpse of a foreign war in the cemetery of hope jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive! Even the attendant ideas are dead. 'Tenhup!
