BEAUTY, UGLINESS & EYE
The d.o.m.:
Neither the beauty nor the ugliness intends to be in the sight of the eyes.
Nor the eyes intends to see the beauty or the ugliness.
But the beauty or the ugliness is seen with the eyes.
If one does not love the beauty or hate the ugliness,
then he will be at ease and in peace.

If Love,
It is like the sunlight to the earth.
It keeps beings and things alive but never says a word.

It is also like the air to breathing,
It supports the lives without any intentions to mention.

It is also like water to the thirst,
It quenchs the thirst
and keeps humans, animals, trees and grasses grow.
but never tells anyone what it does...

stephen:
Dear DOM: I have never seen love, but I have seen compassion. I have seen the hungry offered food, the thirsty offered water and the angry offered peace. Love is an emotion of selfishness because your loved one is only an extenuation of your wanting, your delusion. There is no real action in love, but with compassion there is real exchange of offerings. Neither love nor compassion exists because of themselves but compassion has a future for the now. MU

DeZachster:
Isn't love something you give?... and so the act of giving love becomes the action of love, or... loving. In that way, it seems similar to compassion, though yes, very different from the type where you want something or someone else for yourself.
So, if you feel love, it is because you are eminating it...

...or is it merely when you are living and not clouding it that it is experienced...like air in the lungs?

lehish:
>If there is Love, It is like the sunlight to the earth. It keeps beings and things alive but never says a word.<

The d.o.m.:
Because of someone like you, it was said.

And you deserve one reward three times.

The d.o.m.:
Mr. Stephen,
The "love" that you have seen is one of the facts of human life on this earth. It is superficial and the opposite of hate. It is some kind of sickness. The compassion as you have seen is one of remedy to cure that sick. And that "love" is already mentioned in the first part of the post.

What is said in the next part of the post is about something else (so to speak).
