Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring.
The professor watched the overflow...

if attention pays attention to itself people believe this cut off thing is the real i. the mind.
cut off. alone. unfocused. attaching for fear.
the good mind needs no focus. needs no answers. it is not the mind of ego. nor can any label be given it.
all have the same mind.

and i have no idea why this has been going through my head latley. haha.
oh yeah......and the quest for truth is delusion as well as if it was something other. a thing to grasp. or a elusive object. its not. but this quest for it obscures it. this is for sure. to find the truth is to lose it.

Charles: Not bad, shayne. Now let's see who will try to correct or argue. ;-) Woodsman Sorry, my wife's kickin' me out.
the d.o.m.: Hello, Mr. Charles,
You come back to take care of the flower the gardener planted or anything else?
Charles: Hello d.o.m., Whatever happens is whatever happens.
the d.o.m.: If so, come back here sometimes if you'd like.
Charles: Thank you, sir.
Playback: That which is called the "before" is already the "after" now. That which is called the "unnamable" is already the "namable" now. That which is called the "undying" is already the "dying" now. That which is called the "unborn" is already the "born" now.
Therefore, before and after, unnamable and namable, undying and dying, unborn and born...are what one has thought. With what one has thought he makes his own world. This world is hard to get in or to get out because it has no door.
Woodsman: The ocean voyage beckons.
Playback: No foot has moved but the voyage is already finished.
Woodsman: Ahhh! The fresh salt air! Ahhh! Breathe it in deep playback.
Playback: Take care of your nose!
Woodsman: I never have liked salt water much. I must have come from some fresh water fish... flip, flop.
shayne: From Playback: That which is called the "before" is already the "after" now. That which is called the "unnamable" is already the "namable" now. That which is called the "undying" is already the "dying" now. That which is called the "unborn" is already the "born" now.

exactly. noname is name. dying is living. so with that said we have no where to rest our heads. but this resting of head is not nessacary if ego is not born. so if i say i am the unborn the undying this does not mean i dont understand. or that it is another form of grasping of the ego.
and i am not trying to get into or out of the world. this is silly. it is what it is. not trying no non trying.
your reading it and im typing it.
tell me where i lack?
Playback: When you are in the world of ego and thought, instead of not lacking anything, you get a lot of extra things to rest your head on: me and you, love and hate, right and wrong, good and bad, beautiful and ugly, pure and impure, rich and poor, humble and arrogant, desire and sorrow, anger and folly, greed and satisfaction, pleasure and suffering...
shayne: yes true.
