I was wondering if sexual abstinence can increase one's power to heal in the Reiki discipline.
In other words, is there anyone who can explain to me if the ability to heal oneself or others is directly
proportional to the length of the abstinence period?

Is it dangerous to abstain when young? (That's what some doctors say.)

Please, can anyone answer my questions? I don't know who to ask. I have made healing experiments
which have left me full of doubts. I know this is an embarassing topic, but if I ask my friends,
they'll just laugh at me and think I come from another planet.
Besides, if a person can heal him/herself from
all kinds of sickness just through abstinence, I think it would be good for others to know
and put into practice.

Can anyone help me understand?

If you are not a nun or a monk, and you don't want to be a nun or a monk who must observes
some kind of precepts suggested by the group a nun or a monk joints,
then just get married and live your family life, have a normal sex
life with your consort, give birth to your children, raise them well.

Beside your family life, if you'd like to do some practice to attain something you want,
just make yourself a schedule for your practice which synchronize with you family life.
With your regular practice, your mind state will be more clear and stable, and your force of life
will feed your spirit health instead of spending in sexual intercourse.
Then you won't have to observe sexual abstinence.

After all, don't make sexual abstinence a problem for yourself. This does not mean that you will
have to fall into sexual indulgence as much as you'd like.
If you fall into sexual indulgence or sexual abuse, you will become exhausted by sex,
and killed by it soon.
