Shake off what you have had from outside, Shake off what you have had from inside, Shake off what you have had in the middle.
Shake off what you think. Shake off what you think that is wrong. Shake off what you think that is right.
Shake off what you have known. Shake off all the teachings that you have learned. Shake off the knowledge that you have accumulated; Except for the part of technology that is necessary for daily living. [But do not make it an authority for yourself and others!] And the part that helps you to go home. [If not, your wife and kids will be crying for you're not going home!:-)].
Shake off the experiences that you have had. Shake off the past that you've stored up in your memory. Shake off the images or impression of beings and things that you've got through the perception of your five senses. Then your mind will be fresh and new moment by moment; And your perception will be clear and pure; And what you have perceived will not be accumulated. Your mind will be clear and pure, too. It is lightened now. It's empty, immense, and fresh as it is from the timelessness.
