When a monk was traveling on the road, he met an old woman, and asked:

WHERE IS THE MOST SECURE PLACE?
As far as we know that there is no place which is secure for any of us, right? We can not find it at anywhere.

It is not in our husband or wife, not in our father or mother, not in our sons or daughters.
It is not our in friends or co-workers or neighbors.
It is not in schools or colleges or universities.
It is not in sciences or pholosophies or politics or religions or cultures or traditions.
It is not in governments or armies or nation or country.
It is not in the world outside or inside.
It is not in churchs or temples or mountains or jungles, or by streams or rivers...
It is not in God or the Kingdom of Heaven or Nirvana or the rest of it.
It is not even in ourselves: our body and mind, our feelings, emotions, thoughts, ideas, cleverness, knowledge, habits, recognitions or realizations...

Question:
Why is that so?
Where is it - the secure place for us?

Answer:
When no secure place can be found anywhere, whether inside or outside, one is immediately secured.
