One day, Chang-sha Ching-tsen (d. 868), one of the well-known Chinese Ch'an masters, wandered in the mountain. When he was back just at the gate of the temple, the head monk asked him:
-Where have you been, Sir?
A REAL READER
The real reader would open his mind and read it carefully - thoughts and feelings - see how they arise, how they last, how they disappear, see how they effect on himself and others in expressing, acting or doing. When he sees all of this clearly, understands all of this thoroughly, then he is ready for a start.
