A wandering monk called Vaccha asked the Buddha if the Buddha would still exsist after death. The Buddha replied:
"Vaccha, the idea that I would exist or not exist after death - such ideas lead to dense jungles and arid deserts, to entanglements... continue...

Because of you have something, someone will touch it or take it away from
you, and you would get mad and fight to death to protect it or to get it back.

If you do not have anything at all, no one will touch nothing or take nothing
away from you, and you would be in peace and smile wherever you are.
