Generally like the setup with the following exception, although many Zennists speak of Zen Buddhists concepts, there aren't any. Reality is not conceptual. The 4 Noble Truths/8Foldpath are wonderful pragmatic guidelines, which must be internalized - one must become them. So call 4/8 principles or guidelines, but not concepts. A fine point perhaps, but nevertheless important.

This is my first visit to this site and I am presently beginning a self study of Buddhism. I have no Teacher and as far as I know there is no one with any training about the subject in this area. If you know of someone in this area, please let me know.

I have begun pricticing meditaiton during times of stress and with a complex problem. It really appears to help. I have had no professional training. But imagine how much more at piece I could become if I knew the proper technics

I'm trying to learn more about Buddhism. I have meditated before and think this would be a good religion for me once I find out more about it.

Do you have listings of websites that would be of interest to your viewers? If so, would like to be included. We have been involved in Zen for 40 years & had two Zen Classics which were published by NAL, & distributed worldwide. They are: "The Gospel According to Zen" & "Games Zen Masters Play." They are now out of print, but still being quoted in new books. Also, if you would like to trade links, please let us know. Hope you will have an opportunity to review our site, which has "Meditation in Activity", "Masters & Methods" and many other related sections. Thanks.
